Los Haitises National Park is around 1,600 km km2. That means that you will see sighs of arriving in Los Haitises national park at Samana, Monte Plata, and Hato Mayor provinces. But that does not mean that these areas are where you see the photos on the internet.
There is two Main entrance to Los Haitises National Park. Sabana de la mar town that is the public visitor’s area and Samana ports. The public area is by the sea, Caves, mangroves, and Rocky islands. Even though fees entrance is 100 Dominican Pesos. Is obligatory to arrange a Tour in Boat to visit the most interesting areas. Keep in mind that if you are in the Samana area you need to cross Samana bay.
